Take me out to the ballgame.....!!!!!

Lilly, me, Tom, Grandma & Grandpa attended the Durham Bulls game this Saturday night. It was a little chilly after an afternoon downpour, so Grandma bought Lilly a Durham Bulls hat/bonnet for her head. Well, Lilly in her hat created quite the stir! A team marketing representative for the Bulls would not stop doting on Lilly and made sure that this picture was taken of Lilly, Grandma and Wool E. It was such a nice family night. I enjoyed watching my dad enjoy the game - and experienced fond memories of his coaching my softball team as an adolescent. He made friends with a couple of little-leaguers enjoying the game nearby - one of the boys (8 years old) gave my dad a Bull's hat that was given to him for his birthday party in the stadium. It was quite cute!

I enjoyed my first beer since Labor Day weekend 2007. Tom enjoyed enough for both of us! LOL! Grandma had her first funnel cake! Can you imagine? She is hooked, saying that she'd go back to the baseball game just so that she could have more funnel cakes.
