Lilly's Godmother (my cousin) Trisha came over for a Birthday visit. One of the fabulous gifts that she gave Lilly was a Dora the Explorer cosmetic bag, with lipstick and nail polish. Lilly was thrilled! She already loves lipgloss and her daddy paints her toenails every Sunday. Here Trisha is, a customer in Lilly's Salon!

On Saturday we had a small get-together for Lilly's birthday. Grandpa was in the hospital, so it didn't seem like a real celebration! Lilly did have a good time eating (more) cake and opening her gifts!







Lilly's favorite present by far was her new doll. Grandma got Lilly a Bitty Baby (American Girl) with lots of clothes, a crib, changing table and high chair.

Lilly turns 3 Years old!

Saturday was Lilly's 3rd birthday. I can't believe it! She is very proud to know hold up 3 fingers when someone asks her how old she is.

We started celebrating early. Friday morning, Mom, Tutu, Tom and I surprised Lilly at her school. We took our SpongeBob SquarePants themed party to her classroom! She was thrilled! The kids sang and danced and had a great time!

Lilly is doing so well with her ice skating lessons! She LOVES ice skating! Her new coach, Jenna, has really made some progress with her! She knows "how" to fall and how to get up from a fall. This Saturday, Lilly skated 1/2 the length of the arena with no assistance at all! Here is a great video of her on her own! At the end, you will see her boss Jenna around! She loves for Jenna to pick her up and go fast and spin with her, so when Lilly does something great, Jenna picks her up and takes her for a spin! :)
