LG loves for us to read to her, and we do just about daily. Her favorite is "Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse" given to her by our friend Amy, from her daughter's collection (Abby is now 12). My favorite is "On the Night You Were Born" given to her by our friend Judy. Anyhoo, Lilly, my mom, my dad, Tom & I went to the Raleigh Flea Market this weekend. There was a lady there who was selling children's books. Grandma Courtney bought LG over 50 books! Most of them are award-winning hardbacks. We were so excited! Tom picked out 3 for us to read last night! "Why Mosquitos Buzz in People's Ears," "Chrysanthemum," & "What Dad's Can't Do." As you can see from the pictures, Lilly usually falls right to sleep while being read to and rocked.
